i like it. but i have 3 footwork mixes by different d's and
that's enough until it changes into something else.

I like that, but there's a little TOO much shuffle on the
hats. IT bothers me because it sounds like someone who
doesn't know what they're doing has layered two loops with
different amounts of shuffle built in and not quantised them
to a common groove. If the hi hats were sorted it'd be a
good track.

we must be so careful nowadays to illicit personal opinions.
currently i am watching the box set of 'monkey' to train
myself into what is acceptable and what is not.

the right direction, imo.

Footwork music is like a lemon: When you put your horse
radish covered dick in it, it burns your utethra.

Future music or one of those other computer music magazines
has a 'How to, step by step' guide to make footwork music
with samples on the dvd so you can paint by numbers and
express absoloutley nothing.

what a fun time! kid chameleon and sleazemore (who is a
punk) didn't even play juke, but boylan tore it up! had a
ton of fun playing with my new live setup (launchpad +
mpd).

people do definitely still rep mac and e40 - if you can get
past playing the most obvious tracks ever it will tear the
house down! :P

i may post my set later, half footwork/juke, half 180 bpm
beat music. it got kinda sloppy tho, being my first time
with the launchpad. also some chick came up and yelled in my
ear about some shit for like 5 minutes and i was so
distracted i let a track play out and had dead air for a
second. turned out she was just repeating a mike jones song
title over and over. ugh.
