not idm, but maybe you should know , this is totally messed
up.

pepsi uses aborted human baby Fetal Cells to test new
flavors.

how does a company ever get to that position? and where do
they get the babies from?

for real.

not that surprising;

actually encourages me a little that the times are
progressing. I would expect this sort of thing from anyone
with enough money. I am looking forward to by having my
mind blown by all the awful immoral stuff that seems moral
to people of the future (aka young people).

Pepsi will come with a new flavor next year by testing on
baby cells: pepsi breast

first: this is an avid anti abortion site, so I won't
believe anything there on beforehand

second: i couldn't read all the way through, but are they
saying Pepsi has recreated tastebuds by using fetuses. i'm
no scientist, but if they did that with fetuses or if they
did that the moral way, that would be quite amazing. but i
don't believe it altogether. maybe it's some sort of PETA
action: getting exposure by saying something insane.

i like coca cola. i once read, though, you get a pretty
special drink if you mix coke and pepsi

google shows this is reported on many web sites, not
just the one you do not seem to admire.

i believe they take cells from the kidneys of the dead
babies. seems sick to me. But of course, parents in the
poor developing countries will be likely to agree for the
money, only to buy decent food for their next attempt of a
child.

how desperate can we be for a new flavour? sure its clever,
but its definitely fucked up and twisted, would you allow a
soda pop company to do this, if you were so unfortunate? i
could not even imagine anyone daring to ask me such a
question to my face. maybe they don't ask? maybe they lie
like all large corporations do.

Maybe in 2011 our money would be best spent on research into
why these babies are dying, before we look for a new flavor
coke?

HEK293 is a cell line derived from human embryonic kidney
cells grown in tissue culture. They are also known, more
informally, as HEK cells. This particular line was initiated
by the transformation and culturing of normal HEK cells with
sheared adenovirus 5 DNA. The transformation resulted in the
incorporation of approximately 4.5 kilobases from the viral
genome into human chromosome 19 of the HEK cells. The line
was cultured by scientist Alex Van der Eb, in the early
1970s, at his lab at the University of Leiden, Holland. The
transformation was executed by Frank Graham, another
scientist Van der Eb's lab, who invented the calcium
phosphate method for transfecting cells. The source of the
cells was a healthy, aborted fetus. The name HEK293 is
thusly named because it was Frank Graham's 293rd
experiment.

my third google result:
http://thehivedaily.com/blog/2011/05/28/are-aborted-fetus-c
ells-used-to-make-your-diet-pepsi-sweeter/
lead to:
http://hek293.com/index.html
and here is the wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hek293

So, if I understand correctly, a aborted fetus was indeed
used one time in the 70ties.
And imho the Christian site is trying to make us associate
Pepsi with dead babies.

was indeed used, but not by Pepsi. the fetus was not aborted
for the purpose of getting that culture of cells
