Ok, i noticed that tons of us here use soulseek, and
decided to make a thread dedicated to listing your soulseek
name, and chatting about trading on the proggy with
whomever.

My sn on it is, nanotech...i run dsl, but i'm currently
experienceing problems with it, so i'm not on it so much
right now, but as soon as i ready a few gigs, you can be
sure to find me!

Happy trading!

I sometimes log on as "smouse", or as "mimic", then mimic
what the person said right before me all the time. They
were talking about giving oral to a cat's tail last time I
was on there. And someone said they ate a kitten and it
tasted cute.

I'm on there as jand...

But my files are a mess (as some fucker told me yesterday in
a popup message) so be warned...

I really need to get the Firewall at work sorted out so I
can share my setup there plus the line is on JANET, a major
internet backbone so transfer speeds are incredible...

I keep unblocking the soulseek ports and this fucker I work
with resets em as he says "Students can use that port to
change their grades..."...

He's been watching too much WARGAMES or drinking too much
cough syrup..;)...

still, work would be even more boring without arseholes to
have a good silent chuckle over...

And checkout the thread about the Aphextwin.nu chatroom
that's been setup....

lots of fun...

remember soumeone on soulseek chat saying that "it tasted
cute" part...that was back when i first got the proggie, and
b4 i had dsl...ahhhh, memories...

Soulseek is a filesharer like napster but it has a Hip
Detector built in and won't let you on unless you pass....

see soulseek.org....

Mainly MP3's but software and movies as well...

Nanotech--- WooferAttack

I've downloaded so much shit from you guys... I was
wondering why you had such great music, and now it all makes
sense, I didn't make the connection to this board

I'm Xanatos, I'm on Cable so upload isn't nearly as good as
download, but you can see what connection speed it is when
you d/l from me, I have about 10 gbs of electronic music.

Question: Does anyone else have a problem when trying to
browse user files? I find that it only works about 1/10
times. It either says "error getting file list" or, "no
files shared" 90% of the time. Anyone else have this
problem, know what's causing it, or know if it will be fixed
in the new version?

56k, and dismissed it as timing out...

im scared for soulseek... its just too great..i've been
there for a while but we all know what happened to napster..
:( maybe because of the content that is shared on there it
wont get too big.

they are not on your list...

i used to do that option nanotech, but that is kinda
selfish. people say they have bad bandwidth, well then set
the upload to 1 user at a time and set the upload speed real
low. fair is fair
