yay!

from my messed up and usually inaccurate memory, fleetmouse
likes the field and staz hates it.

unhelpful but praiseworthy review

I bought it and I think it's so so. I still think
"..sublime" is his best and most original release.

It's growing on me, slowly.
I was wondering about the track "Arpeggiated Love". Could it
be built on manipulated samples of "Moments in love" by The
Art of Noise? Does anyone else hear that, or is it just me?

I'm downloading it now. I plan to listen to the first twenty
seconds of three or four tracks and then delete it.

co-existence, there's no sample from "moments in love" in
that track.

this is really, really good, with more depth and texture
than his previous releases.

How can you be sure about that? Do you know the source?
Anyway, it seems inspired by moments in love somehow, at
least it does for me... and any samples could have been
heavily manipulated, but all this is just speculations on my
part of course....
Willner used samples from the Cocteau Twins' "Lorelei" on
"The More That I Do" from his last album but they were much
easier to detect.
Looping state of mind is still growing on me and it's by far
the album with the highest rotation on my iPod at the
moment.

I know what you mean, I think it's the breathy synth sample
and the nod in the "Arpeggiated Love" title.

Btw, I'm eagerly awaiting the deluxe edition of
Who's Afraid of the Art of Noise?

Oh wow, that album was always too short. Very intrigued by
“sleak hectoring” and the cinema ads.

It will be a nice addition to the deluxe of Into Battle
released earlier this year. I just pray that they will find
a way to deluxe In Visible Silence, In No Sense? Nonsense!
and Below the Waste as well

Ok, that's a pretty weighty argument, I'll give you that
much. Please pass on my thoughs about the track to him and
do congratulate him on yet another decent album.

i consider "The Field" standard, nothing outstanding
a consolidate Kompakt clichè

i agree with each word of the review written down here

i think your memory is a bit crooked, i'm totally
indifferent towards the field. maybe i should give it a go
sometime.
