why are you so INSANELY defensive about this artist andy?
really?

i would call it ridiculous, regardless of the artist, if
someone were to say "i hate this. i haven't even heard it."

that's true, it just seems like you've been really active
about vhs head. iono, i'll stick my head out again. got
nothing in here to say.

seems like you're being selective with the facts here,
Stian. which is disappointing.

if you knew me, you'd know that i'd comment on shit like
this regardless of the artist, and have called people out
for the same (or similar) shit on watemm, even firing off
truth bullets in Plaid threads (and i don't even like
Plaid).

but you can see what you wanna see. either way, people that
come into a thread deriding it's contents while openly
admitting to either

1) not hearing it at all, or 2) have come into the thread to
say that they didn't like previous material, hence this must
be shit

are blatant trolls, and are the ones who're actually being
rude.

I'd go further. You disgust me.

i find it funny that all the other items listed under
"Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed" are video
games.

Apparently people who listen to VHS Head don't listen to
music.

I agree with Steinvordhosbn, VHS Head can be a somewhat
difficult listen as an album. Not due to the quality of the
music, but to my specific taste in electronic music.
Though, many individual tracks I quite enjoy (this also goes
for the entire output of Team Doyobi).
Gianasi is a fun & lovely track.

i think its inventive to use VHS samples to make music,
surely thats pretty cool? alnums quite good as well. nought
wrong with a bit of choppy glitch says KENnith...

team doyobi stuff is mint, its utechre i have a problem with
and have done for years. and everyone whos been arguing on
here shake each others hand, apologise, then argue some
more. it seems that this is the very rusk of this websites
essence.

ill truth bullet you some. the truth is : vhs head is
working with something that should work and has sort of made
it crap. cant stand most of it. its choppy, people, really
choppy. good samples are used and used quite poorly. SOOOO
many bits id love to hear done nicely but they seem to have
been chopped in a very bad way.
why didnt this work? it was right up everyones street! it
didnt work cos it didnt sound nice, it sounded like
hamfisted referencing of a time that some people briefly
wanted to relive, but didnt want to dedicate their ears to.

i almost like it, almost. thats why its actually just a
chore

its not wrong for me to assume that ill be hearing the same
from a new release.

remember jackson ahcb's "smash" ? THAT was "choppiness" of
high order. but while on "smash" choppiness was just
addition to brilliant ideas (and tracks did differ from one
another) vhs head is just "choppiness" without brilliant
ideas - therefore getting boring and tiresome after a few
tracks.

sorry to make anyone and anyone's friends cry but, again,
its not wrong for me to assume that ill be hearing the
same from a new release.
