yes there is, where you set your post to be for circles, instead just put a specific person's name. but, Google+ isn't like Facebook anyway. it's more akin to Twitter on steroids. |

google can't be trusted at all with personal data. and they have slowly monopolised the internet - succes with google+ would really be the icing on the cake, don't you remember the good old days of geocities and fortunecity and tripod and angelfire and askjeeves. |

imo they can probably be more trusted than almost any other company but: i'm still an advocate for being able to use google+ anonymously (not with your real name), (or maybe just under pseudonym with google knowing your real name) |

my gripes with google plus are you can't talk about it in real life: friending = encircling. unliking = unplusone-ing? nonplussing? (btw, 'nonplussed' means something like 'weirded out') G+ won't a FB replacement.. no matter how much they try, FB has the momentum in social, just like google has the momentum in search. also, FB will copy any feature from G+ before it's released (their employees are friends & practically have lunch together). Google Buzz killer definitely. Twitter killer, interesting. |
