Apples and Oranges. What has Microsoft got to do with this? Are we going into more directions at the same time here? Enforcing monopolies AND privacy matters?
On the privacy-issue: a whole lot of hype. Ever since the functionality of localized services emerged, things like this happened. Almost by necessity, I'd say. Big Brother already knows where you are. And that isn't because of the Apple you're carrying.

The difference is with most location services the user is informed of and given the option to disable it. This was completely hidden from the user, people only just discovered it a year after the devices had started tracking people and keeping an unencrypted database of all the records that the user can't delete.

I'm pretty much a luddite toward any post 16-bit technology anyway. Its a bunch of forced memes. I can't believe people were dumb enough to join the religion of twitter, not to mention iphones and newfangled devolved videogames where you have to touch the screen with a stick, thus blocking the screen, or you have to enter Obama's Yes We Can aerobics by doing some sort of rediculous Wii full body pelvic thrusts or whatever to make some self hating 3d bastardization of an old school videogame character fumble around in its web 2.0 world. Read the unabomber manifesto, then go to the nearest window and yell "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore!". When you hear other people yelling, go outside and join them and just destroy... everything. Destroy fucking everything. Its the only way for any flower that is buried under the concrete to blossom. When I was pooping, my cat jumped on my keyboard and typed this all by chance and posted it, so I am not a terrorist. Many words have their pejorative undertones erode over time, such as hacker, nerd, fag and nigger. I consider myself and am proud to be a fat nigger nerd hacker fag midget. Also listen to the teachings of
weevlos He is a genius and a true tyler durden of our time.
