I don't encounter those regularly, unless I am looking for free pornography from disreputable sources. They can be used to gain access to your personal information and computer. If it is happening to you frequently, I would suggest booting your computer in safe mode and running several malware scans. The safest thing to do when you get that popup, is to close the browser through task manager, as both the buttons and the x at the top can be linked to run scripts that run through your browser. |
