Back in January of this year I decided to set myself a
challenge. The challenge was to write at least two minutes
of music every day and post it up somewhere people could
hear what it was I had made that day. I kept it very low key
because I didn't think I would last the week. But much to my
surprise I kept going. To me the results were surprising in
that they seemed to be fairly cohesive whilst not sticking
to one style of music. I was approached by Terranean who
wanted to help me promote it, they also supplied a couple of
remixes and fixed up the artwork from the original picutes
that I took each day to go with the release itself. Now
hopefully if you are still interested after I have babbled
on this far, you may be interested to hear some sounds.

Promo mix

Contains snippets of all thirty tracks mashed together.

This available on a name your own price model including
free, if you fancy chipping in to my fund then I would not
say no but it is by no means mandatory. :)

Download here

I hope that those of you who decide to investigate further
will enjoy what you find.

Thanks guys.

Melak, it was initially released a day at time. I kept it
really low key for two reasons: 1. I didn't think i'd last
the first week and 2. I didn't realise there would be any
interest in it at all. It's not like i'm well known or
anything. Not for the lack of trying I guess.

i understand what you mean,
but i dont think i listen the whole thing now (too many
tunes!),
and maybe i would if it was just one a day
and have a clickable link in facebook for example...

I understand it's a big ask as there is a lot of material
there. It's done now however. I'm not going back to the
material every again. This is it's place.

I found it at bandcamp - great idea, massive collection

I'm at track 3 and I think it's awesome. Keep making music,

how do you sequence and/or record what you do ?

I'm asking while listening to Feb 10th: Something Missing?
(Full Length) - I wonder how it was done

That one started off life in Reason which was later rewired
through Ableton Live. Through the whole project and still
even now I use whatever seems like the best candidate for
what I have in mind.
