And the track has sold over 3 million copies on itunes it has beaten Justin Bieber and is number 39 on the top 100 list. It really is a game changer and paradigm shift as no matter how shitty pop music has gotten this far, it was a cutlural commodity owing the pleasure that its consumers derived from it, i.e it is pleasent for them and gave them cultural cachet based on the pleasure. Rebecca Black's track is selling owing to the sheer mediocrity. Yes mediocrity is the prevailing quality that is motivating its consumption. People are watching and buying it so they can share their distaste and displeasure and gain cultural capital by and chiming in and proclaiming its awefulness and the feeling of aesthetic superiority it gives them. And cuntycunt you are such a simple cunt. It is not the story of a little girl that made a record. It is about the two scuzzzballs lurking around in the background that have created a whole factory full of talentless little girls that they are unleashing simultaneously and rewriting the rules of popular culture in the process. |

funny fact the lead character in the graphic novel Wanted (that got turned into the movie Wanted) was using Eminem as photo reference was a lowly white collar white boy intern that gets initiated into thug and assassin life by a black woman photo referencing Haley Barry If you scroll down on this page you see panels with the black woman using Ms.Barry references in the movie it changed into a reedy english boy being initiated by Angelina Jolie..totally missing the point and the Joke in the process. |
