My gf just went without me

so my gf and i have been dating for a while and we both
like to travel when we can. recently though she went on a
trip with a group of girls to a place that i've never been
to but always would say i really really want to go to. She
even doesn't wear the new necklace Ibought for her theother
day. i don't care as much that she went on a trip without
me, it's more going there. i wouldn't go with a bunch of my
guy friends to a place that she was dying to see. is this a
problem or am I overating?

I always wonder what the source of these scenarios is...not
like a lot of men are ever writing to advice
coloumnists...maybe it is transposing genders?
