Well I'm about an hour north of Detroit. I'm brand new
here, but not to making music. I'm currently in a project
(Biblical Proportion) with a bandmate and we play live
electronic music - all hardware. We use the PC to record and
publish only.

Just wanted to say hi! I will be frequenting this forum and
have songs and videos that I will be posting regualrly.

Thanks :)

Now isn't that a ridiculous statement. Can a music genre be
dead? People are still making IDM. There is still some
interesting IDM being made. Maybe your just not quite as
naive as you were when you started listening to it, and
every song isn't mind-blowing.

not sure if either dead or alive is the correct status
deadened definitly dead no alive not sure

I have a question
can the terms Braindance and IDM be substituted for each
other..i.e. are they the same thing?

my opinion is no...they are not
sure the same artist can make both
Analords is Braindance, Drukqs is IDM
one mostly uses Acid as foundation the other doesn't
etc
