Just put a drum machine in an afro, and cool music will come out. One time on the subway, some sleeping dyude has a massive afro, so I put a portable drum machine on his head and put random beat making on. I took it home to find it full of super afro hits! It was so afro, so puffy, and so beaty. Changed my afro life. |

i'm not goof at wikipedia kind of descriptions, if you want the full story have a quick look and see otherwise just listen, i do this way. so for me afro beat is when there's an obsessive rhythm that starts, when there's progression that change in obsession, then the other instruments come and go, on a more instinctive fashion |
