sup thad!

freqy, that connection with max-msp is interesting, since i
have paid good money for them program
the only one i bought <-- for the reputation
but i have abandoned it in an attempt at be cool.

tell me more about it, how are the people at the max-msp
forum? you know how i'm done

krimson: no help since flash can't be used into an ipad

i'm not looking after a fancy animation, i just need to
interact with the pic and possibly change color to objects

So you're programming something for the iPad? If you have
programming know-how, it's uh... just a matter of
implementing the scene. The rotating part isn't ACTUALLY
there. It's just a graphical metaphor... It's the same as
one would program a push button to change color thing. The
areas are masked off, and only local color is changed. The
reflections etc. don't actually interact with the
surroundings when colors are changed, which means that
form+reflections are kept separately from local color, and
darken/lightening is accomplished by multiplying/adding the
grayscale values over the flat colors.

i would join the max msp forum and post the video your
interested in. then ask how can you use max to do this?
Then they will tell you the general jist .
name the modules maybe even some patches.

i do more with data/numbers , not touched video yet,
otherwise id tell you how to do it.

search "max msp jitter" on youtube lots of interaction video
stuff on there.

: )
