What's everyone's thought on this new semi-craze...

Some is very inspired even if it does tend into self-parody
a lot of the time...

& if I hear one more Missy Elliot fuck up, I'll murder a
cat...

I read about the new stuff that comes out from Rough Trade's
weekly mailing. Never bought any but am curious.

Kill all cats, cats are evil. Haven't you seen the film?

C'mon Meho you said yourself you come from the ranks of the
middle classes. Do you wear courdory trousers? I'd wear them
if my girlfriend got her way.

Sorry, Agreed CATS are cool ...(hope we're not discussing
the muscial tho...)..

BastardPop is like Bootlegs...basically mixes where a Modern
track is mixed in with some old 80s tune...

Some are very cool...

Check out http://boomselection.n3.net/ ... a blog devoted to all things
bastard...

thanx for watching my back jand.

Jonesy: I come from the middle class but i strive for the
bottom!!! I hate middle class, I hate upper class, I hate
working class, I hate class system, I hate classless
society, I hate society.

Now, to answer jand's question, some of it is cool, but does
it include modern covers of vintage tracks, like Alien Ant
Farm's cover of Jacko's Smooth Criminal?

Not really...

It's more a DJ thing...not covers..generally accapella pop
hits over something else weird...

Very big in London at the mo...

Theres a APhex Vs Brirney doing the rounds and a couple of
Autechre (Ae vs Outkast I think)...

for good measure in.

dying to read on Beresford and Alice Coltrane. That last

Like Jand said, you should go to this site

There's some great stuff on there.. plus the mix of
Nirvana/Destiny's Child is there, and that's great!
