elusive: it must have been the word propaganda that gave me
the wrong idea.

i think one only would see the leaks as good propaganda for
the US if they already believe in the role of policeman for
the US

Taxidermist: I draw the line at putting individuals at harm
anyway.

If the wikileaks indirectly start a war than it really
proves why wikileaks needs to exist: because these documents
shouldn't exist in the first place.

you're right - that word was mis-used.

i meant that in regards to myself --- i felt a sudden "pro
US" feeling as i was reading about all of the serious shit
going on that the rest of the world has been completely
unaware of.

i know the US has a stretched empire...many forward deployed
bases, etc...and how many are against that. me too in
certain regards (e.g. being stretched too thin) --- but upon
reading the leaks it almost made all of that feel justified
or at least that it was being done with reason....vs
thoughtless empire expansion. do you see now my point?

it was extremely hard to communicate it in person (the
depth/vectors of it) to my friend, let alone trying to
convey it in text without having the opposing reader read it
as shallowly as possible and decide what they thought i
meant

:/

lol Yes... the make-up and consistency of the leaks matter
here.

As a sociology/politics student though - this is GOLD.

But not the expensive kind.
