I don't think that 'identity' - say, of a person - can stop its crises.

If you want specifics - they are too sensitive. But yes I have had my troubles. Are you 'having' such a crisis now?

realising myself that the specifics are too sensitive for me too

kind of hypocritical of me to make a thread about it expecting others to talk while I am too afraid myself.

  ok, here goes...
had one last year. took a load of drugs to escape, woke up from a k-hole (+ 2c-b), and I was literally another person. just like how a person with dissociative identity disorder has their alters, it was like there had been this other person inside of me. it was the most bizarre, surreal experience I have ever had in my entire life.

really, I've not been the same since.

Well, first don't worry at all because it is normal that the "specifics are too sensitive" (there would be exceptions)

And you were not a hypocrite through your act of writing this thread.

I will tell one detail - I also experienced states of dissociation, but not of the same kind as you (This category has more than one designated "disorder").

I understand that often this would call for 'grounding' practices. And I know it's hard.

Time provides also opportunity for hope even though we all will die.

Learning, grounding and a very distinct kind of surrender. Maybe offerings.

Regular formal mindfulness meditation - in the long run it can be very helpful. But you can often feel better quickly. It teaches patience.

also the chinese starsigns, i snooped on you.
You are born under the sign of the Cat/rabbit and your element is Fire

In China, the Cat is also known as the Hare. Since you are a diplomat, you know better than anyone how to avoid any possible attacks and get round problems. You play your game well, even in difficult situations, and you never get involved in meaningless confrontations.

Besides, you loathe violence and you seek a harmonious and peaceful lifestyle. You are shrewd and inventive and in many instances, you demonstrate your ability to take advantage of events without claiming to influence their unfolding. It is better for you to adjust to the context than to clash head-on with your interlocutors!

However, your serenity hides an unshakeable determination, a will to allow no one to influence your decisions. You don't let people meddle in your privacy. Although you elicit confidences from an entourage eager for wisdom, you carefully avoid getting involved in other people's problems.

You have the reputation of being distant and sometimes indifferent. Actually, you are protecting your own balance through a course of action that is not connected with prevailing vicissitudes. Your strength lies in your undeniable stability. Fashion, trends or hurdles cannot overcome your unwavering will to live according to your inner certainties. The reed may bend but it does not break. This is the whole subtlety and strength of the feline!

Chinese astrology has five elements, which are referred to as agents: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.

You have a deep affinity with the agent Fire. In China, this element corresponds to the planet Mars, the red colour and the number 7.

Fire implies dynamism and contagious warmth. You are a passionate person who gives a touch of intensity and unrelenting tension to every element of your life. One can only praise your energy and notice your presence. .

You belong to the category of people who never give up when they are facing hurdles. On the contrary, challen

nge stimulate you. You are particularly exhilarated whenever a new element emerges or when you are dealing with an unprecedented context.

Obviously, the danger is that you may rush headlong against a wall of insurmountable difficulties and act impulsively or thoughtlessly. It is important that you moderate your natural impetuosity as often as possible. Beware of untimely fits of anger!

However, your undeniable frankness prevails and your straightforward and honest character appeals to a good many interlocutors.
