Multi-Award winning progressive-electronic
singer-songwriter LiLi Roquelin will be performing on a
baby-grand piano with a full band and strings players on
Tuesday November 30th at legendary NYC venue The Bitter End,
NYC, 7:30pm, for Chick Singer Night Showcase.
LiLi Roquelin released in early spring a full-length album
entitled "Will you hate the rest of the world or will you
renew your life?" as the follow-up to her critically
acclaimed fan-funded EP, recipient of two best music video
awards and honorable mention at the John Lennon Songwriting
Contest. Her music video for "Should you get mad" received
an award and was in the official selection of several
festivals this year.

Recent press quotes:

The Aquarian/East Coast Rocker:
"Like the passing of a strange and beautiful woman amongst a
bustling gray sidewalk crowd you cant help but turn and look
directly in her direction. And in this case, I've done a 360
to catch things I didn't see at first. Lili Roquelin is a
forward thinking artist possessing scary talent and an
ambitious eye on the future."

"A Rising East Coast Star" (Knocks from the
Underground/Boston Quincy Cove): "Everything Roquelin
touches she makes her own — even things she hasn't
created. Her cover of "Sally's Song" (written by Danny
Elfman for the Tim Burton cult-classic, A Nightmare Before
Christmas) is nothing short of perfect. Always a haunting
show-stopper, translated into French it becomes a song of
grand devastation"

Live Performance Review (Synch Ladies on the move): "LiLi
Roquelin has a sincere, warm and loving spirit that is so
rare these days. Artists like these are encouraging to see"

Live Performance Article (The Kent Stater): "A room full of
eyes blink toward her — consumed. "A nightmare I had,"
invites you in, bathing you in its melody, on the low end of
the spectrum, giving the impression of a half-slumber
waking."

Advocate: Her new album is called "Will you hate the rest of
the world or will you renew your life?"

You should take a minute to think about that!
