Is that by the people that made Penumbra?

It is. I've not played those though.

Yes! (and yes it's by the makers of Penumbra but i haven't
played that yet)

I was just going to make a post about this game.

Easily the "scariest" experience I've had with modern
entertainment.

If you're at all a fan of HP Lovecraft you need to play it
immediately.

I've not made it to the end of Penumbra yet, I got scared!

Will definitely check this out though, thanks guys.

It was the scariest game I've played too.

Pre-ordered it but it will not run on my computer. My specs
aren't the problem, I can run Crysis on high settings @
30fps, but this game refuses to start in full screen mode. I
can play it windowed, but that's no help because it ruins
the immersion and this game is 100% about immersion. I gave
up trying to fix it after posting on various forums related
to the game, including the company's own forum, and trying
again after a 500+meg patch was released that didn't fix
it.... then uninstalled it. I guess it just wasn't meant to
be.

I should mention that I have the Penumbra series and really
enjoyed that, for what it's worth.

I had the same problem. I forget exactly what fixed it, but
I think I found it by playing around with the resolution
settings.

Not sure if this works for all games, but for L4D2 on steam,
I can no longer alt+tab out in full-screen mode, so I play
in a "windowless window"

Set these launch options: -window -noborder

It's basically full-screen mode, but in a window. There are
no bars/borders visible on it.

I will try this for Steam games are they are a bastard to
minimise/maximise.

Games on steam, press shift + tab to go to the
steam/community page, and then alt + tab out of that. It
actually works a lot more reliably than tabbing out of other
games.
