Insomnia and late nights

While i've been 'enjoying' my break, i keep on having
really late night, e.g. 1am-2am, and getting up really late.
Its a big change from going to bed at 11pm which i normally
do.

When i try and have an early night, i have big insomnia.
Does anyone else have this problem?

i solve it by setting several alarms early in the morning,
and hide them under things, so that u hav to jump out of bed
and switch them off.... put one the otherside of the room,
and DONT get back in bed - that's where i always fail. By
11pm u shud be knackered, if not, do it again!

The early mornings and late nights also means more time to
do more stuff :-)... like think of sleep :-/

I know what you mean...I usually go to bed around about
11.30pm..ish - but these last few nights I've been getting
to bed quite late. It was almost 2.00am last night!

I'm gonna have an early night tonight though.....10 more
minutes here and then I'm gonna call it a day.

usually, even skool nites, I'm up till 12:00-12:30 and get
up at 6:30.... its just normal for me now. I hav really late
nights on fridays/saturdays/holidays, like 2:00! Sometimes
later, the sun comes up before i go to bed sometimes!

I always find things to do, when i should actually be going
to bed!

Lie on the end of your bed Manchu - you'll soon drop off!

(I'm so sorry for the cheesy joke - but I couldn't resist..)

I usually go to bed around 4-5AM... regardless of whether I
have classes the next day or not. I can barely stay awake
during class, predictably... I went to sleep at 5:30AM last
night! It's insane.

Does anyone else find that the body quickly adapts to this,
so you dont feel as tired and its harder to get to sleep?

I can survive and thrive no 4 hours of sleep no problem...
my body adapted. I do it 5 times a week. Well, I DID it...
now, I have no reason to get out of bed, so I'm back up to 8
or 9 hours of sleep a night.
