I'd like to think I've been a good boy. I've read Snow Crash, The Diamond Age and Anathem, quite recently. But I just can't get into the story of Cryptonomicon (I've read about 200 pages). Anathem didn't really resonate with me until 200 pages into the book -- from then on it was one hell of a ride. Perhaps I'm being lazy, not truly hardcore. Do we have any Stephenson fans here who could give me some healthy advice? __________________ On a side note, has anyone read by Charles Stross? Man, I really enjoyed that book. The Singularity (geek rapture) has never been this much fun. |
