havent got a clue in which direction this is going, been out of the loop of mtv and so for a long time, but there used to be a lot of conscious black music or rap practically free of stereotypes. coincidentally i picked up a buckshot lefonque cd today while doing a virus check on pc. theres still a huge need for black people to have their own identification. while this can add some flavour i wouldnt mind if we all were a little more the same. its a bit sad when societies live within borders. |

A genre can't be racist unless that is what defines it (i.e. Nazi Techno). Certain artists may be racist though, which I would assume occurs in all genres. |

It's just that there is a similarity in that both felt/ feel frustrated with their situation and decided the only way to do something about it was something extreme and violent. Not phyiscally violent, but with words and stuff. You see? |
