It's really too bad that this board has died out the last couple of years (or 5?). I can remember the old days, before the myspaces and the facebooks, when this was the main source of information about electronic music with an edge. It all went the complete opposite way that we wished and expected. Back in the AphexTwin.nu days (that was the xltronic back in the days), we only had one focus; a forum where people with equal fascination on Aphew Twin could talk and share information. At some point the idea about xltronic, as the main source to edgy electronic music in general, was actually pretty plausible, but with time we all realize that we have lives to attend to. If this was a fully updated forum, with fully updated releases, a shop-system, and more functions that would allow new users to thrive, well there might be a change for revival - but right now the future looks dark and dull, when looking back at the last 3 years in here. Too bad, is all i can say. It's nobodies fault but our own. - Steven |
