fresh coffee vs. pre ground coffee

hey people. for those of you how enjoy coffee, i'd like to
promote using your own fresh ground beans for the coffee
instead of getting that pre-ground shit. i used some
pre-ground stuff this morning (nabob brand), and it tasted
like tobacco ash. fresh coffee on the other hand is super
tasty, with a full taste that takes over your whole mouth
and lingers pleasantly. long live fresh ground coffee.

I don't like drinking coffee - but I love the smell of
ground coffee!

My grandma uses fresh ground coffee,
she still grounds it manually with an antique
(coffeegrounder??=),you know what I mean)
As a child I loooved doing that for her,and then make coffee
and drink it,

yes...my grandma made me a coffee-addict

I'm a coffee aficionado. For the best cup of coffee, use
freshly ground beans and a french press coffee maker. I know
some people who roast the beans themselves and have $$$
equipment, but I don't think that's really necessary.

I've got a long ritual I use for making coffee, but the end
result is so good!

Good coffee doesn't need milk or sugar, it should be drunk
black!

Uzim...what anime is that pic from?

Coffee Rules...just like Doritos rules. They both rule.

doritos suck ass. well, i guess they are an okay snack. i,
however, am a student in the culinary arts, and feel that i
must be somewhat food snobbish, thus shunning doritos and
snacks like it. i just finished supper (filet mignon with a
red wine sauce, atop a mighty fine mound of potato purée -
not mashed potatoes - with mushrooms and brussel sprouts).
damn, it was good. mmmmm... food snob. he hee. i now shun
pre-ground coffee. it sucks ass.

Dude, all you have to do is wake up a little earlier, grind
your beans and that's it. can't say you don't have time,
all you gotta do is use the 20 minutes you have sleeping, to
grind your beans... instant folgers... sacriledge in my
house!!! but hey, to each his own, right!

b sprouts are great, when treated the right way. i love
them. i think there is a prejudice against certain foods
that exists, like brussel sprouts, anchovies, brains, etc.
just eat it, and it's not that different from other foods.
b sprouts provide a wonderful texture in any plate, and when
they are cut in two length wise, and lightly colored by
sautéeing in a pan, they are great.

I eat pretty much anything so long as it is cooked well.
However I have yet to eat a 'good' sprout. I think they need
special attention which so far I have not given them. Anyway
their season is just about over so they'll have to wait
until next winter.

grinding yer own is tasty, smells good, and makes the folks
downstairs think you're playing with sex toys.
Loads of people in UK drink instant coffee. It tastes like
Bovril and bears no resemblance to coffee at all

i too consider myself a coffee afficianado, and i agree on
these things

1. GRIND your own beans FRESH
2. the coffee press is one of the most important inventions
of the 20th century and mine will be buried with me =0)
3. good coffee does taste best w/o anything.....but CREAM
does make it just a bit more TASTY =)
4. if anyone gets a chance try coffee from kenya.....it's
the BEST (unfortunately one of the most expensive as well)
but well worth the investment for those special coffee
occasions!!
5. *wonders when they will make an EAU d'CAFE perfume, cos i
would definately buy some*

ok.......finished.....*dives back into her cup o java*
