Amazingly, you got a lot of the super secret conceptual parts of it! Cuz also, it's indicated in the intro text that the clips are played in reverse sequential order. By careful observation, it's apparent that the same episode is playing in both clips; ending in first, beginning in second. So it's like, this infinite loop thing... And then the viewer realizes that they're witnessing an endless loop in first person, which is actually what the "shell" in the film can't escape. And then upon realizing infinity, the ultimate knowledge comes to the viewer, and they are abducted by aliens.
