People say running is bad for joints, etc... well, relative to what? I suppose the joints in isolation could possibly be in objective worse condition than one's joints from a sedentary lifestyle, but the overall benefit from running is immense.
I've heard people give negative criticism about gymnastics as well, and it's like: "Unhealthy? Gymnasts are 500 times more healthy than you'll ever be, you muthafucka!!! When they begin to 'get old', you will already be decrepit and physically useless. Fuck you, you lazy sonofabitch!!!"
That is usually concluded with a jumpkick to the head and police gathering the scene, cuz they have small dicks and no friends.

running is high impact exercise...however , cycling, swimming = low impact,

Though with those bow shoes or whatever, one can run 500 mph and jump like 30 miles high, which is pretty cool.
