Do you get the same problem after a reboot?

I'm not familiar with the software 'Puredata' but have you
tried removing it, then reinstalling - maybe that'd help!

do you have any other sound-related programs running in
background?! 'cause it seems that you're soundcard(chip) is
half-duplex....

You might have fried your soundcard.

Can you play with any other sound programs?

How well do you know puredata? I was taking a stab at
learning it a while back, and it looked pretty dope, but I
kinda lost track. Want to start again soon.
