So my 27th birthday was a few weeks ago, and this marks 2 years since I got off all the junk and came back to my hometown.. I've been pretty straight since then. I got a good job through which I'll be able to pay for graduate school when I get there (i'm just starting my 4th semester at community college). I quit smoking cigarettes, started doing a lot of yoga and distance running, cycling.. I can now run 14 miles in about 2 hours.. I never gave up the weed. Caffeine left my system before that stuff. But i've never been as conflicted about weed. At any rate- I felt exciting and like I needed the release, and there is something about birthdays that remind me, more than any other day, of death, so I decided to get drunk. My friend's mother made me some authentic ramen on a "ninja stove," and I drank a bottle of crown royal with my friends, and then someone drove me downtown. I went to a local bar which happened to be packed with the wednesday night edition of "lets wallow in the bathwater left behind from the late 90s rave scene" - which was actually pretty fun cuz I know all those people, and the place was packed, and as I got drunker I had more people coming up to me and wishing me happy birthday than I've ever had in my life. I haven't had a birthday around these folks in 7 years. SO, i was feeling tip top, and decided to moderate my no drugs policy a little bit, and made a few phone calls and picked up about ten rolls and ate a couple and danced and though they were fairly weak and quite cut, was still highly enjoying myself. Thats the thing about staying sober for that long, it doesn't take much.. The bar closed, and I still had a pocketful, and the two girls that my girlfriend had given some to had to work in the morning and weren't trying to come home with us (but they looked tempted) and then I saw this guy I haven't seen much at all since high school with another girl I haven't seen in forever, and I said, "Come on lets go to my house." and they were down.. |

So we all walked back to my house. Now, I've been with my very hot girlfriend for 5 years and we've had a few sexual encounters with other people, but not under such idyllic conditions, and not in a few years. I was walking behind the girls with my friend, and had given them both a party favor (god I hate that term but I feel like I have to use euphemisms on the internet these days), and the two girls seemed to be hitting it off quite well. We got back to my house and everyone settled in and we smoked a bowl and then there was this kind of awkward moment, where all four of us were sitting on the couch, and it felt kind of like, "okay.. everyone knows what is supposed to go on here.. how does this work.." and I said, "Maybe you two should make out." and they did and the other girl asked if she could see my girl's tits, and voila, we all got naked. Now, here is the amazing part. I have few musical options on my computer-- 4.6 gigs of afx, or my music, or some random crap. I decided this wasn't going to end until the music did, so I popped on all the analord recs in sequence, and we all shagged until the sun came up. Then my girlfriend announced that she had to go to work, which was like "holy crap, that fucking sucks" but I didn't have to go to work, which was nice. I went and got some coffee with the couple-- they were a couple in the 2nd week of their relationship. It was fucking awesome. I needed something like that badly. The next week was my girlfriends birthday and there was a party and an old friend offered me some clean molly and even my girlfriend wanted to take it, and I was tempted but then was like, "No fucking way! I had about 800 times more fun last week on two speedy rolls, only because I'm not touching that shit again for a long time!" And so, I feel not guilty about the experience, got a bunch of pent up energy out of my system, and got to see two hot girls do that thing where they bump their clams together. |

oh shit you made me look so handsome! man my i've been through the ringer! 1 hour of sleep a night doesn't cut it. i'm going to go stuff myself with a burrito and hope that the food makes me comatose. she came home and we talked for half hour or so and did some mutual crying, and got some things said. I'm proud of her for making an independent decision.. our relationship was not progressing and she needed to do what she is doing. but now all the girls from my chemistry class (i'm an older dude in community college) are there for me. ugh. i've smoked a few cigarettes and regret it. fuck cigarettes. i don't need that crap! i've been a serious egomaniac in my relationship. time to be my own egomaniac again. that will be better for all involved, I think. |

bowls = weed (as in the bowl of a pipe) rolls = e, mdma molly = pure mdma (usually powder) hold out, plan ahead, and get some clean stuff next time you drop. hoorah for a pleasant drug story involving moderation! |

big--- truly.. the last few days have been pretty clear. i wasn't sleeping and wasn't thinking very clearly-- i ate a soma and drank a bunch of beer and smoked a few cigarettes, and then I had nothing worth feeling good about in lieu of my girlfriend. at least if I am sober I don't feel all lost and confused about my own life, just 'ours' i'm an attractive guy, in good shape, and am still looking for a woman who can intellectually titillate me as well.. this girl, and god damn is she sweet and do I love her.. not the sharpest tack in the box |

heh, if you've been together so long and still can get along, maybe you'll get back together after all. nobody's perfect anyway for now, to not get into drugs and forget about chicks and self sorrow, i recommend you start making music again. because if i remember correct you're pretty good.. |
