with the exception of 22 Livingstones, these tracks have
been available for quite a while, along with 15 other
monolith tracks

Grrr, if only I could endure regularly sifting through the
self regarding pus flecked spunk on WATMM I might have saved
myself 2.99.

soo tuss. you cannot blame for some thinking it is him
again. like the recent rephlex thing even if wisp is right
there ^_^

My guess is that Jodey Kendrick is also the Monolith.

offline glasse from Harrisburg (United States) on 2009-12-30 12:39 [#02355598]

reminds me a bit of the tuss or even newer dmx krew just a
little, but it is probably someone else that is just into
that style.

rephlex is into that style, so they sign people that are
also into it.

offline mermaidman on 2009-12-30 12:42 [#02355599]
Points: 8308 Status: Regular

agreed. there is a rephlex sound and this sound is based and
evolving on richard d james' sound, so i myself am not going
to question every rephlex release anymore

offline Sano on 2009-12-30 13:01 [#02355600]

If that was the case I would rather have more Squarepusher
Feed Me Weird Things copycats than just people copying
what's hip at the moment.

offline glasse from Harrisburg (United States) on 2009-12-30 13:19 [#02355601]

well, none of them are original anyway, not even richard.

their entire sound is based on copying drexciya and lisa
lisa and cult jam

"This video contains content from Vevo, who has decided to
block it in your country."

Christ, that's worded as if Vevo personally hates "my
country".

True to a certain extent but that was not I was trying to
say, to me Rephlex is just using these AFX sounding myspace
artists as quick cash-ins, plus the buying crowd is usually
the bedroom producer so it's goes full circle in way.

I'm not impressed. This has been the standard formula the

> Monolith = The Tuss = Richard D james.

The Tuss and Monolith are made on thesame new Roland gear,
V-synth, Fantom, maybe MV8800 or Boss DR880 etc.

i was listening closely, and i'm sure they both also use a
rave-o-lotion 303 and all the behringer pedals that copy the
other ones
