most electronic labels don't have a millionaire co-owner
either :)

but yeah, 'phlex is a cock solid label and deserves the
support. very few still like it today who release on their
own terms without bowing down to the latest trends (read:
planet mu and warp)

Yes, a foot in the door for independent digital
distribution. I didn't say they were struggling for a
fanbase or were a netlabel? What's that got to do with it?

Hedphukker, you turn up to a San Francisco version of a
Dubstep night. You pay a few dollars to get to see some
watered down music and maybe a bit of plastic hip hop.

Forget it. Happy Christmas and whatevs.

zuh? im not hating on anyone.

i mean, big ups on rephlex finally getting on top of things.
this is gonna be a great boon to them. all i did was let
those who already "steal" shit know they can "steal" shit.
just a mention of a private tracker.

please, if you have the funds, pay for the arts you love,
but if you can't love it just the same and appreciate that
you can be exposed to something which ten years ago may have
cost you eating dinner.

Fuck. I can't stand the pseudo minimalist approach of that
site. Reflex has been on the cutting edge of awful the
entire time they have been running, but they seem to want to
raise the bar with their web design.

its ridiculous that you can't download an entire album, now
i have to sit and click a million times to download each
track separately. this shop is far away from the standards
these days.

I love the new boutique. I bought that Monolith ep and paid
with paypal. The order failed. I contacted them and they
fixed the problem ASAP. They said they still have some
"issues" with paypal..... I'm pleased they helped me out so
soon. I've had problems with other digital stores that did
not turn out so well. One Little Indian still owes me for a
failed Disco Inferno purchase and Domino Records never came
back to me about some corrupted Pram tracks I bought. It's
sad when I easily could have stolen those tracks instead....

The compression is a little high on some of the releases on
the sampler/player, like Monolith but then again the real
deal doesn't sound very sharp or clear :()
