depends on how much you wanna spend. when you are searching
for some low-end cheap ones there is nothing better than
creative ep-830.

read gearslutz.com- look out for one's with quieter
headphone leads that don't amplify your movements.

i think i'm looking at maybe $150-200 range. these are going
to be for both production and ipod out-n-about listening.

hm i was always against making music on headphones. and when
i'm forced to than at least open on ear ones so your ears
won't hurt even hours later.

i would buy two pairs.

i already have a pair of studio phones (koss pro33a) but
sometimes it's just not practical to take them out traveling
with you, especially considering mine are hardly
road-worthy. similarly, you can't always work on tracks on
your nice big some system. i need something that's both
portable and has fidelitous sound.

from what i'm finding right now, i'm really leaning towards
the sennheiser ie7. any opinions on those?
