Would lesser intelligent beings think of IDM as messy or
unorganized?

And the first person to reply "you're a tool" to this post
is a tool themselves. :)

Is IDM appreciation really about detecting organization and
thought? Yes, the feeling of decoding gives satisfaction,
but with yourself rather than the music itself? IDM is of
course messy. As is Ulysses and Russian Ark. I would say
that an ideal IDM apprecitation would be a subsumtion to the
tunes rather than an understanding of how they work. We must
never forget the emotional and direct physical component of
IDM/braindance, as with all art. Intellectual art is not
art.
