Which are the most importants concerts, dj live and dj set who have you lost, in the last period? Mine are: March 2001 -The Braindance Tour (in Milan) - I missed Ovuc, B.Raczynsky and Luke Vibert a the same time!!! :( sigh! I really was a newbie... October 2001 In a famous Milan's disco, I missed SQUAREPUSHER and PLAID at the same time. Today I'm still crying... but I discovered this dj live 2 weeks after!!! sigh, sigh, sigh... :( |

the missed bands/shows that will always haunt me: - afx, orbital @ '93 'see the light tour' in los angeles - shut down before it started - communion tour: meat beat manifesto, orbital & ultramarine at the park plaza in la back in '92. decided to go to the 'rollercoaster' show that night instead (j&mc, spiritualized, etc) since we had caught the mbm show two nights before in sf --- should have seen it twice. - orb at glastonbury 1993 - tickets were not waiting for us in bristol as expected. arghhh...some solace in a pre-glast gig at the univ the night before. - black dog @ some boat party in sf ~ 95 (?). ok, didn't have tickets but kicked myself many times over for missing this, which i heard about after the fact. if it really did happen? maybe it was put on by the same group that threw the excellent mu-ziq/spacetime continuum boat party the next year (?) - not a huge loss but we did miss the first couple of tracks from autechre's live set at coachella '99 -- we lost track of time in another tent taking in lamb when the lead singer louise reminded the crowd that ae was starting elsewhere! |
