swine flu is the most abused, over-glorified "pandemic"
since... uh, the last swine flu outbreak in the 70s. it's
amazing what a bit of fear and intimidation does to the
public.

very pretty stats tho

question is why?

why do the media globally push this fart of a virus as a
menacing epidemic?
only logical reason i can think of is, pharma multinationals
having produced lots of vaccine in hope to make lotsa cash
need to get rid of the stuff now in order to reach their
profit goals, so they use their expert puppets to babble a
lot of crap. but this would be too obvious?

because it has potensial for killing people. Stats only show
how people managed to control spread of virus. If there was
no actions done to prevent this, it was even worse.
Situation will sooner or later will be out of control,
becouse as events show virus spreads. We have to develope
vaccine. It isnt scary becouse it is only "first stage" I
think.

it's already out of control, but it's not a cause for panic
unless (or until) it mutates into a deadlier, more
drug-resistant and immunity-defeating strain. Until it does
that, it won't kill millions of people even if most people
are infected with it and develop symptoms.

I've had this pesky disease for 6 days now, and it doesn't
differ much from a seasonal flu, although it hit me pretty
hard and fast.

These sorts of pandemics are real, and it shows we've gotten
quite far with modern science to be able to predict and
forecast these things beforehand. But unfortunately people
are using scare tactics where only better information would
suffice.

i found it strange that the UK terror threat level was
lowered at the time swine flu threat increased- as if the
populous could only handle a certain degree of fear at once-
someone's definitely playing games with something. Perhaps
citizens under threat spend money more recklessly to help
the global recession? Perhaps emergency scenarios allow the
government access to extra spending funds? god knows.

i've just got over it. it basically an 8-9 day very mild
cold. i'd been preparing myself for a world like 28 days
later.

yeah, it was all over the news because if it was not
controlled properly it could become a serious global
pandemic and mutate into something unstoppable which is why
they had to make people aware of it so much.

i think i had swine flu, but i can't be sure i was off work
for a week with a serious flu anyway

i definitely had it last week. i am pretty sure i know where
i got it from, too. it's just like the regular flu except
aches and pains are about twice as worse, and my temp was
sky high. the aches were unbelievable and an annoyance

i got over it very quickly though. constantly dosing
mucinex,zyrtec(cetirizine),tylenol,ibuprofen,orange juice,
echinacea, garlic, staying full of fluids, staying in bed,
staying immobile, that's the way to kill it. rest and heavy
maintenance. was only down for 3 days. no flu shot needed!

it's so easy to make a chart like that and scare the shit
out of somebody and there is no reason to be afraid of
anything at all anyway. its because everyone is absorbed
with the body and whatever's going on. no one is aware or
alert of anything. like,of course, if we needed to remind
you...... indeed your body's going to stop working on day!!!
here's a new way it can stop working!!!!! BE AFRAID!!!!

It is too litle money invested in swine flu vaccine
development. It is vital to craeate vaccine, cheap and
effective vaccine. Most of all events, reactions to
situation charts, shows stupidity of human race. We could be
easily destroyed. In other words we have to evolve to
survive. In the future there will be more viruses, and what
will happen if we just lol in front of beast in cage, it is
mater of time he will be free.
