On my way to work again on the a508 heading north towards
Lamport I saw the orange orb UFO again, it was traveling
east this time at a low altitude moving in a straight line.
I pulled over as quickly as i could and got out my car to
take a photo with my iphone. The images that i captured are
not so good, but they are at least proof that i am not
halucinating .

The object was the same as before an orange ball of various
shades, like it was made of fire, perhaps even not a solid
object . hard to say how far away it was or how big the
object was.

I will upload the image later, it's jut a little dot in the
sky though, my iphone only has a 2mp by the time i got out
the car and took a photo it was a distance away from me

maybe this is not ball lightening them :( as this is a rare
natural phemoninon which occurs normaly during or after
thunder storms.

damn this

a plane? the fact you see a ball could be due to weather

i said before the first UFO i looked at, i thought it was a
burning plane. but this was not a plane.

the only thing it could be is a giant chinese lantern, a hot
air balloon at night, or ball lightening

What do you think these UFO's are? I think they're probes
from outer space to identify all planets with life, they
wouldn't even need to send alien people since they probably
developed ultra advanced AI.

Sano

I thought that too, but people generaly find that idea a bit
unrealistic and would be more in favor of a natural
phenomenon.

Another crazy idea is that the object itself is an alien
which can fly through space interdimentionaly, but then why
is it hanging around northampton?

Since I am the only person who has reported to see it, maybe
i am connected to it, maybe i am the orange ball!

It could be doing what Google has been doing, just document
the whole planet.

Dr. Michio Kaku talking about type 1, 2 and 3 civilization
and the time period expected to reach them really made me
think of all the advances a civilization would do globally,
from fuel, synthetic life, AI, computer power, cybernetics,
medicine, scientific research, the list goes on. Usually
people just think of the present transposed into the future
but it's not like that, that's 100 years from now, I like to
imagine our civilization 5000 years from now, then 10,000
years from now, it would be completely abstract us.

I cant help but see the fuckers all the time, either friends
of friends doing them, bestival etc.

they go quite high, and once they get in a slipstream sort
of thing they just go.. quite quickly, in a straight line.

I was down at my mothers in edinburgh they were having a
little haloween party for the kids, we were standing outside
having a cigarette when we notised the object in the sky it
was going really fast faster than any plane so i dont think
it was a plane it looked like a fire ball it was glowing
orange and it was sparkling slightly it went for about a
minuite then just faded away , about 15 minuits later
someone in the garden shouted me outside there again was the
object in the sky speeding very fast i got my digital camera
and captured it i got about 30 seconds on the camera then it
faded and disapeared it was really hard to capture though
as it was going that fast and i had it on full zoom , every1
in the street could see this and were all shouting and
screeming it was crazy.

if any1 would like more info on this or has any info on this
email me at

i have done some reading about this and there was many
sightings last night, and have been for some years , there
is no exsplanation for this they say its chinease candles
but i can assure you this was not a candle.

Many thanks.

Thanks for that, we probably did see the same thing, you
know this could be those Chinese lanterns, perhaps they can
travel really fast at a high altitude. As I said; i would
like to see one released to see how it behaves in the sky.

I forgot to upload the image i have, but to be honest it's
not worth posting, just a tiny orange dot in the sky..

Thanks for showing me the vid.

I know what it's like though, you see something you never
normally see and you start considering it being something
fantastic, when actually there's probably a more rational
explanation. You start to believe it so much that any other
rational explanations hurt your ego, which is how i felt at
first, but now i am starting to believe it was something
like a lantern or natural phenomenon.

I still believe that technology could exist manned or
controlled by other beings of a distant place to enter our
space, but in this situation i think there is a reasonable
explanation.

However because of these popular Chinese lanterns and UFO
reports of them, lazy debunkers will use it as a quick
response to any UFO sighting regardless of the details.

i dont believe a chinease lantern could go as fast as the
orange dot i seen it was faster that any aircraft , ive saw
a few videos of these lanterns and they are not very fast
they just float about really slow.

there is a seriouse amount of people all over the country
who saw this on saterdy do u think there was that many
chinese lanterns lit of all around the country on the same
night???

think about it!!??

look, I have seen this object twice now, the first time i
was really blown away by it, yes it was traveling really
fast and it disapeared on the horizon. But I am looking for
a explanation, the chinese lantern is possible, it would
immit an orange glow like fire and it would be round, so
that looks like our most likely answer. the speed and
streamline movement is what makes it strange, oh i don't
know man...

hey are you a regular on xlt? why are you hiding behind a
dupe account? don't be ashamed to discuss this with your
real identity!

sightings now that there was a full page article about them
in this month's Fortean Times.

already BEEN! I strongly encourage you to check this out!:

Man saw UFO beam buffalo into spaceship
Derek Bridges has revealed how he shot extraordinary footage
which UFO experts say shows aliens beaming a buffalo into
their spaceship. Pensioner Derek filmed the eerie scene from
his window after spotting pulsating glowing orbs hovering
over a neighbouring farm late at night.

The two bright lights hover high over fields, while an
animal appears to dangle below before vanishing into them. A
high-pitched screeching noise can be heard before the UFOs
finally disappear into the night.

Grandfather Derek, 69, said: "I couldn't believe my eyes.
I'm convinced it is the real thing." He told how he spotted
the bizarre lights over a neighbouring farm as he looked out
of his window while getting ready for bed at his house near
Basingstoke, Hampshire.
dark red about half a mile away. I kept looking at it for
about 20 minutes and then suddenly a bright white light
appeared which was very powerful.

"At that point I picked up my video camera and filmed what I
saw. I saw two white lights lifting up and I just kept
filming. The lights were high in the sky. They couldn't have
been anything on the ground. I did not realise at the time
that something was dangling beneath but when I played it
back the next day on a big screen I could see it there.

"I believe it's a UFO and this animal, which could be a
bison or a horse, seems to be being beamed up. As far as I
know, this is the first time anyone in the world has filmed
animal abduction, so obviously I'm pretty chuffed."

well, as an advanced and enlightened species, they would
know that buffalo meat is much better for you than beef from
cows. also they are generally raised on pastures rather
than in factory farms and are not force fed so there are
less ethical concerns. an enlightened species would also
take this into consideration.

Buffalo Meat is lower in fat than chicken. It has only
2.42 grams of fat per serving, with only 1 gram of saturated
fat. The calories, cholesterol, and sodium are also very
low. Buffalo Meat has a high level of protein and iron. Many
Doctors are recommending buffalo for their patients because
of its health benefits. It has been proven to lower
cholesterol levels up to 45% within a 6 month period because
it is high in Omega 3's and 6's which aid in combating
cholesterol.
