I've had a pair of sony mdr-cd570 headphones for years now. So comfy and I prefer closed ones. They suck at mixing music though, but I've learned to compensate..overdo the reverbs, crank up the highs etc. Saving up for some Tannoy Reveal active monitors now. -P |

sony MDR-EX70's are my current pair. bought them about a month ago. imo they're the best earphones (not headphones) money can buy. |

How is the bass on them?...I'm tempted but have been spoilt by a sub-woofer and the texture it adds to music.. But I'm a on the lookout (s/b ear-out I guess) for a real decent pait that still has that bottom end presense without any distortion... Am i expecting too much from HP...the phsyics seem to suggest so... any advice greatfully received.... |

Most Sennheisers have excellent bass. The fact that the driver is so close to your ear, and completely surrounds your head helps the effect. The ones I have, the sony mdr-7506s are also great for bass. Doesnt have as much kick as a subwoofer, obviously, but still good. |

ive got senheiser hd570 and i love 'em. they sound good and must be one of the most comfortable pair of headphones out there. i just love those velvet cushions :) |
