How do genre preferences affect the use of different music formats?

Hi!
I’m a Musicology student from Abo Akademi University
writing my master’s thesis about how people use and listen
to music formats in a private space. The purpose of this
study is to shed some light on the way people use and listen
to the CDs, MP3s and LPs they acquire, and to what extent
genre preferences may affect listening habits.
I’m gathering my research material with a survey and I
would be utterly grateful if YOU could take the time to fill
it out. The survey will take about 5-10 minutes, depending
on your listening habits.

SURVEY LINK:
Listening Habits

After I’ve gathered all the data I’ll post some key
figures from the study here which you may find interesting!

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential, data
from this research will be reported only in the aggregate
and used solely for my master’s thesis. Your information
will be coded and will remain confidential.

Thank you in advance!
Frej Gronholm

Hello Frej. Your survey is a little shitty. You don't even
have 'IDM' or 'Electronic' as genre options. I cringe to
think of the irrelevant, mind numbingly general and
superficial conclusions you will end up making from this
study.

You can acquire music in different ways, you might, e.g.
buy your music from record stores or online, or download it
illegally. Please state which format(s) you acquire your
music on (whether you acquire the music legally or illegally
is irrelevant)

:D

which define the different use of media.

I refuse to answer those questions because you didn't
include the genre of 'electronic music' i believe you are
IDM-ist towards us

thanks

People do not listen formats they listen music. Quality of
music has nothing to do with taste of music. If one have HDD
with n*TB he can listen flac without woring about HDD space,
and for example I cant store ~2000 tracks and more in only
150GB HDD. So there is question of technical posibilities
not person habits...
Your test is wrong.
