nah haha I just hate Northampton, i can't believe my parents
chose to live here! it's a working mans town, dull
atmosphere, lots of OOOOOLD poeple who get in the way!! lots
of crappy pubs

I prefer to be in a city with loads of cool places to
explore... people seem more interesting, and you can express
yourself easier without feeling judged...

My cousin lives close to shoreditch so i have been there and
surrounding areas and i didn't feel it was that bad. but
then i was with a group of people. when you are alone it's a
bit different

always said 'Princess, you walk dahn every street like you
fackin'own it.'
So I do,and its always worked.Mind you,Daddy does own half
the village...

Ive heard good things about clapham (sarf of the river, so
a no no for me), but yeah, everywhere up town has what you
are after, depends what rent you want to pay.. you can get
anywhere on the tube

i know what you mean, but lets say you decided to wear a
gothic lolita outfit that you made partly yourself...(if you
are a girl) you could easily walk through a busy city and
be accepted without people sneering , but in a smaller town
you become a joke

The reason things are more accepted in a big city is because
of diversity, i am a diverse person, i am into allot of
different things and i need a place that can provide these
things

so little these days :((

You should live in Notting Hill somewhere off Portobello Rd.

Remember that collective that was doing up old containers
and tube cars and depositing them atop buildings around
London? That was supposed to be cheap affordable housing.

I can't recall. I left lovely London in 2000 and as a kid
was carted all over the place.

I thought cheap housing was Charing Cross station and a
sleeping bag (if you're lucky). :(

I want to come back to the UK. Eventually it will happen.
Lately (the past 6 years) i've been ill and i'm kind of glad
i wasn't in the UK. I'm getting better everyday now.. so
it's time for me to get going again.

stratford is a massive shithole, has been since i can
remember. i was born in dagenham and i'm 33 now.

almost all of london is worth swerving as a place to live.
too expensive, miserable, shit, likely to get turned over
and basically full of desperate cunts who have little sense
of community spirit who contribute to making the whole place
as big a mess as it is.

u mean u cant afford to live there and you're jealous.

london is brill; everything is there that you could possibly
want. there are loads of communities in london, only a truly
ignorant person would think otherwise. sure, some parts are
shit, like every city, but then many parts are absolutely
beautiful.

oen of the best things is that its incredibly multicultural,
which brings a great sense of unspoken acceptance - exactly
how a modern society should be.

yeah, don't get me wrong, there are many plus points to
living in london and there are some really nice areas, but
overall it's an expensive, run down, vastly over populated
city, and for many places that brings a bad attitude and big
crime rate.

west london area is probably the nicest, fulham area out
towards surrey.

no, i live in a nice area of surrey and wouldn't want to
swap for many places in north/south and east london.

it's not jealousy at all, i can assure you.
