what's the 'coolest' area in London?

Well there's a difference between "community spirt" and
"loads of communities". I like the place, I was born there,
but I've never felt part of it, I don't know what "it" is. I
find a massive shift in the different areas, I feel
comfortable in South London yet go five minutes in one
direction and you're in another (usually less agreeable)
world. North London deserves all it gets. East Londond is
like the Blitz is still going on. West London, you pass
through these rings of Affluence and then into these broader
swathes of UTTER SHIT. I've never been so depressed as when
I lived in Acton (West), Bow (East), near Angel (North) but
I was happy in the suburbs of the south. HAPPY. ISH.

Well I would but then I'm from there. And people from
the North of London get all pissy in their pants about South
London as they get as far as Elephant and Castle over the
bridge and shit their pants at the thought that that's how
it's going to be more or less until you fan out to the
suburbs. As if living in The Sweeney wasn't some kind of
roundabout Utopia. I recommend Camberwell which is a bit on
from Elephant and Castle but not as taxing as Brixton. You
get the Art School crowd, things going on and a nice atmos',
plus you're within bus distance of central london and it's
not *as* expensive. THAT'S MY CONTRIBUTION.

Greenwich, Blackheath, Bowie Country (Brixton, Bromley),
Siouxie Soux, Billy Idol, Clapham... I'd gnaw my cock off to
be there now.

to the cricket ground fine, then proceeded to shit myself
untill I got to the planet mu night, never again.

went to a venue called the coronet, it was pretty cool, i
watched a guy do a whole acid set using just one box and
little mixer

Was that Vauxhall? Yes, it's a sketchy walk, I've done it a
few times but only with a beery abandon and a (large) doner
kebab's worth of luck.

principal because he said "you on my list" after i kicked
his basketball away.

we were then best friends for a while thereafter.
