hello this is fourth in a series "metallicadude shares posting knowledge". did you ever make something on soundcloud and wish you could share it with xlt in a pop up window instead of making a new full sized window. well now you can with my guide to soundcloud popups we'll be using some tricks we learned in the youtubes thread so maybe read that if you want 1) first start with the basic html script code <a onclick='*'>LAZY_TITLE</a> 2) now well start replacing the * of (1) with soem javascript. the code to make a window is this fart=window.open('','fart','height=120,width=500');fart. document.write(unescape('*'));fart.document.close(); NOTE: cuz of xltronics formating there is a line break between "fart." and "document" that you will need to manually remove when you copy that. there is no space between them either 3) now it might start getting familiar if you did a youtube post. go to your fav soundcloud and click the "share" button above the waveform then copy the html code there 4) go to http://www.tareeinternet.com/scripts/unescape.html (sorry no lazy link) and paste the html into the top box and hit encode and copy the contents of the bottom box 5) replace the * of (2) with your copied encoded html and then your done! NOTE: doing this takes up most of your characters so you only have like 100 something left after you make the popup |
