whatever of the whole thing but i just previewed the
recreations on the warp website.

I've had these on in the car the past few days and to be
honest they are pretty awesome, bar a couple of clangers.

It's very disappointing isn't it?

I searched on google but I couldn't find it. I'd like to
listen to it on soundcloud.

If they'd swapped the tracklisting of Recreated with Chosen,
so it was those tracks but the originals, I think they'd
have had a good compilation. I kep listening to the Autechre
"recreation" of "What is House".. I think that was such a
missed opportunity. I'd like to have heard the spoken part
in very broad versions of their accents and maybe update the
bands refrenced from "KLF, Technotronic" to, I don't know
"LFO, Autechre"

I was initially dismissive of the Ae version, but I like it
a lot now.

This largely happens with everything they release if I don't
like it from the start. I get round to it, eventually. I'm
such a prick.

i like it. it's definitely better- just not very different.
but i prefer it more when they make good news songs out of
shite ones elements rather than polish up a classic. still -
not like i shelled out a fortnights grocery money on the
boxset so i'll keep my online grumbles to a minimum.

Well, exactly. If I'd had the money I'd have bought it, and
having heard it I'd still buy it and I applaud the
commitment of "the fans"

I think the Nightmares on Wax version of "Hey Hey Can U
Relate?" is worth pretty much the entry fee, but is that not
on the non-box set version? Is there a non-box set version?
I'm confused with the Standard versions and... the whole
issue, to be honest.
