Trailer

Apparently this movie's getting a lot of buzz. Hopefully it
will be a good one. It was shot for only $10,000 so it was a
borderline no-budget production. Anyone know more about this
movie?

I know it looks like a gimmick, but SUPPOSEDLY it's good,
and that's coming from people who've seen it and not the
actual fartknocking Paramount company that's distributing
it. There's a midnight screening in Boston on Thursday and
hopefully I won't be wasting my time.

yeah, trailer is utter gash, but apparently the actual film
is decent. i wonder if it will get international
distribution? they should just release the dvd as soon as
possible imo.

looks like shit to me, but according to this thread the
actual film actually supposed to be is decent, that coming
from people who've seen it, not the actual fartknocking
Paramount company that's distributing it

It looks more like this generation's Blair Witch Project
rather than The Excorcist.

ACTUALLY physically shaking, just incase you thought their
physical tremors were metaphorical.

Apparently Spielberg received a copy of this recently to
view and he trashed his copy because he thought the disc was
haunted. Might be bullshit but still a funny story.

There's another no-budget movie like this one called In
Memorium. Looks damn creepy as well. Here's the
trailer. I don't even think this one has a dvd
release or anything.

Saw it last week. A very flawed movie but at the same time
pretty effective, I couldn't sleep very well after watching
it.

finally got a chance to watch the screener floating about
and i quite enjoyed it. the best comparison would indeed by
the blair witch project, but the setting is completely in
the house (and garden) rather than trees and uh... stones.

the atmosphere was quite tense and you really felt sorry for
them, especially at night. the trailer makes it out to be a
typical hollywood style shock-fest and it isn't like that at
all - its slow and deliberate and i can see why some people
wouldn't like that.

by the way, the screener has the original, non-theatrical
ending, which seems to be splitting people down the middle
as to which is the best. it also has some extra scenes in it
(such as the exorcism which was quite freaky) so don't feel
too bad downloading it, especially since it still doesn't
have worldwide distribution afaik.

a strong 7/10 for sure. well worth watching.

Who cares what anybody says about it. Didn't you learn from
that shitty 'dark knight' batman clone # 117 which was
unwatchably yawnworthy and hyped like crap (or maybe I'm
thinking of. And idiots in particularly seemed to like that
bad acting boring joker character, as you can see alex jones
and venom fang x dress like him in their idiotic youtubes.
Anywhere if 'people are talking' that's just because a viral
meme has been spread. Did you notice how obama spam memes
were all over digg at election time?

LAZY_TITLE is an English-language euphemism referring to

mask its origins to create the impression of being
spontaneous, popular "grassroots" behavior.

Gah, it was overhyped..and like the typical fuckers
Paramount is they had to throw the ending into the trailer,
but it was a good movie..that goes with saying it's not
perfect, I liked REC a lot more..but it shows that a movie
can creep you out with a micro-budget.

just this: how can this be a realistic movie if they didn't

It did drag on. But it doesn't take much to scare me, a
couple of parts got me. Even that bump on the wall almost
made my colon drop out of my asshole.
