Reflex... damn right, 12 years later and I STILL can't fucking beat Battletoads. Tough shit.
All the Contras are tough as nails... and the early Castlevanias are expert-only. The newer ones are simple.

No way, Symphony of the Night is pathetically easy, especially compared to the earlier Castlevanias. My 7 year old cousin can beat Symphony, it's a damn cakewalk. The early ones are for pros only.
And I agree, MO2. Robocop VS Terminator is hard shit!!!

I have 'people' to complete games for me......friends and cousins! And if all else fails...I get the cheats of the net!
A lot of people will say that using the cheats is a waste - but if you are stuck on a certain part of a game, or you just can't do it, then you've wasted your money anyway - this way (using the cheats) you can continue the adventure!!

Rygar is VERY hard... I used to be pushed to near tears trying to beat that game when I was about 8.
I cheat alot, but there's really no need to nowadays... games are DESIGNED to be easy!!! Because they're all flash... they WANT you to see the whole game.
NES games were hard as fuck... it wasn't about the graphics.

There's some super hard games, almost impossible to beat, but that's due to their flawed creation... like this retarded game called castlequest which I think was for NES... but there are fun games which are hard and my favorite type... getting the invincible cheat on the 2nd level of goldeneye (N64)... battletoads (not the ragnoks world version) for gameboy had you beating it with like 1 life left if you ever did... the stupid bird in the desert probably has mario's hat... mega man NES games had some hard Wiley levels but havn't played them in awhile so they might be easy now... Doom2 was the perfect game difficulty wise, you could pick your own difficulty, I got to the point where ultra violence was possible to beat... the maximum levels were the best though.

on goldeneye are you talking about that level where you have to blow the chemical tanks and get out in like under 30 minutes to get the cheat? I agree that was frickin' hard i had to watch a video on the internet of somebody doing it to even believe it was possible. i eventually did it after hours of restarting the level.
also, that level where you have to protect that chick while all those guys are coming in trying to shoot her. that shit was haaard.
