I was just thinking about how much I don't want to got o work, even though my job isn't that bad. what do you guys think would be the best job and the worst job someone could have? |

A friend of mine allways used to say the kinda job he'd like would be one where he did nothing and the postman just brought a money cheque to the house once a month! This friend of mine was allergic to the idea of working for a living! And has since then realised life isn't like that ! : ) |

I'm changing jobs next monday! From heavy ass truck chassis assembly to a much easier (on the back) engine dept job. I can't believe I've been doing this shit for 7 years now. It's probably the money. It pays well, compared to other shit jobs. -P |

I've tried different things: apprentice electrician- potential of excellent pay (30 dollars an hour) BUT 1) it'll take 5 years of apprenticeship b4 you become a "journeyman" to make that $ (start at 12/hour) in which you attend classes and take tests like school pretty much (so 40 hours a week plus the school's 6 hours/week), all the work is far away so expect to drive a lot without getting paid for it adding 2 hours onto every day.. you have to pass a math etc. test to be accepted, then go to a fairly lame interview.... I hated this job, all the people working in it are, like a different species of people, they're all extremely "pro union" (their union is super powerful though) drug using stereotypical testosterony but intelligent people. I quit. truck driver- I got a licence, but never used it because the only work available seems to be cross country stuff which I think would suck. grocery bagger- monotonous but easy, I reccomend this path of work actually... eventually you can make about 18/hour and hopefully get into something like produce/shelf stocker/dairy etc. but it takes forever to become promoted. you can live 10 min. from work too. |

let me be the one to tell you from personal experience, of course not working has it's advantages and such like for one: not working. and that's fine as long there is nothing you want to have which you do not own already. because we all need $ unfortunately to get stuff that we like so for me i'm chill with not working cuz it's like i have just learne that i can not afford to do anything like go see RDJ when he was down here a few weeks ago and i can't complaibn that like poeple go to their shitty jobs day oin and day out but for them when the days done they get to play around and have fun with all that $ they work so hard for and i cannot complain because that is my choice so i do get to do alot of stuff for free tho cuz i have cool frineds that are liek whatever were gonna drink or go here and we'll all like chip on or share days when they take turns paying for me to do dtuff whith them i guess i'm lucky to have a personality that eveyone likes to have around just think if i was a grrl i would get stuff like free cars and coulreally do what ever cuz like i would be cool and have a vagina at the same time that is rare ..... but serioulsy i'm just gojing on and on about nothing so feel free to reply and say get a job cuz i have way to much fucking time on my hands...LOL! |
