i recently watched Shark Water.... but that just got me
angry (despite the fact that it was very good.)

i like watching anything BBC does tho, and i always get the
Unreported World documentaries and sometimes Panorama...

I will check out some of your recommendations :)

TV Junkie is really good, but disturbing. King Of Kongs is
hilarious, you should really check it out.

There's that one documentary about the crazy canadians white
supremacists who killed off a lot of native indians in that
area. Children.

Wordplay is good if you're into Crossword puzzles.

Zoo is good if you're into having sex with
animals.

loved cars and the camera caught one of them stroking a car
and wanking.

I have another vote for Adam Curtis, Power of Nightmares is
a must watch. Deliver Us From Evil was shocking stuff,
partially as it was my first ever non-comedic exposure to
the subject matter. My favourite ever is Ascent of Man,
which I could watch on loop.

I Just recently saw Baraka

it's not so much a documentary though as there are no
words... just amazing shots of things from all over, like
monkey hottubs on mountains.

The documentary I watched was about Jandek. It was called
Jandek on corwood. I found it to be facinating.

Attenborough really.. I also love Louis Theroux stuff and
the odd channel 5 horror, because I'm an evil human being
who enjoys train-wreck tv! :D

When We Were Kings, Anvil! and King Of Kong are the only
ones I've seen out of all those and I loved each one. Man On
Wire I think I'll watch now (nice one BBC2). The best thing
about WWWK is George Plimpton and the King Of Kong
soundtrack is tidy as fuck. The Nazis have discovered Tanis
btw.

Gonzo I gave half hour and gave up. Loius Theroux is great,
I especially liked the brothel episode. After finally
watching the non-event that is Boondock Saints I've got a
hankering to see Overnight also

another decent docu about hunter is buy the ticket, take the ride (2006), although
you're probably better off grabbing the amazing criterion
version of 'fear and loathing..."

Hah! I think you mentioned that (F&L DVD) to me about six
facking years ago. Still ain't got it, have to make an
effort and get it one day. I liked Where The Buffolo Roam
though. Hoping Rum Diary's good as well.... why... does the
floor.... move?

Cool, where did you get it? I want to download it too but
can't find it.

Zoo is also worth checking out even if you're
disgusted by the subject matter. It's beautifully shot and
well directed. I think even if the film were about Tic Tacs,
this guy Devor would still make a compelling documentary.

made a company to put games on mobiles then fucked it up and
the guy had a freaky skull so freaky in fact that i wondered
if it was some kind of body modification
