Yep, it's admittedly been quite a while since I released a
long-player, so I'm relieved to finally get this out, at
long last. I'm sure I've fallen off the map as far as many
of you here are concerned, but I'm still producing when I
can!

Well, it's in stores now, as well as the usual download
sites, Bleep, Amazon, eMusic etc.,
if anyone fancies picking it up. Hope you like it.

Got some positive reviews in from The Wire and NME too, which
is a good start.

To tie in with the release, I've been creating some
unspeakably cool tees and hoodies for Spreadshirt lately, thanks primarily to
the talents of designer Nate Reeves, which have exceeded
my expectations in terms of finished quality.

The rest.... is also great?

I can dig it. A little distressed that I layed down the
bucks for Death of An Aura EP and that's practically half
this album though.

You should name your next album BUTT GHOST, about a ghost
that lives in your butt.

'poopoofartzfartingfart' in the anchor text. Is that ok?

entelechy -- sorry you felt cheated. We positioned it as a
taster EP for the album as well as a bonus for the Minerals
subscribers, as we knew the CD was going to be a while away
(little did I know it was going to be a year off). Had I
been more productive, you'd have gotten more exclusive
tracks on the album, so sorry about that. I'll never please
everyone...

Hey, no worries here!

I just always want more music is all. I don't feel
"cheated"... the music is great.

Ochre, great music! sheffield bleep, go fuck yourself ok?
you haven't even made 1 good track. and for those that feel
cheated about buying the ep..... well if you havent caught
the drift yet, the eps are to make cash, end of story.....

unless I'm missing something, sheffield bleep hasn't even
posted in this thread.

offline spelunker on 2009-08-19 21:29 [#02316577]

I guess you are missing something, the sheffield bleep dude,
who cant write a good track to save his life, has acted like
ochre is shite. When the real shite is just coming out of
sheffield bleeps buttcrack.

So im glad to fill you in, the above is what you have
missed.

sheffield bleep is a dj innit? i dunno if he does his own
stuff.. or maybe he did and i never heard it.

he didn't say it in this thread tho right?

offline spelunker on 2009-08-19 21:35 [#02316579]
Points: 233 Status: Regular

ya i dont know glasse, dj or not, point is, dude cant
write/record a track to save his life, doesnt matter if he
plays other peoples shit, last time i checked everyone
played other peoples music.

The point is, ochre writes and records music, and sheffield
bleep talks shit on it, ive seen it in the past, and
sheffield bleep isnt anything other than your classic poser.

thats all, no biggie.....

apparently trashed ochre?

offline spelunker on 2009-08-19 21:50 [#02316581]

just do a search i guess, i really dont feel like it. I more
or less just felt like saying sheffield bleep is a shithead
who plays music online and acts like he has some sort of
musical cred. thats all :)

search if you like. the dude is a shithole.

I don't care enough to investigate the matter. sheffield
bleep is hardly ever here anyway, suffice it to say that the
majority of people who slag ochre can't carry a tune for
shit. Don't let it bother you.

I genuinely believe there's a market out there for awkward
dance music a la Aphex, Autechre et al yet made
slightly more accessible, like this.
