I feel that I will believe most anything that sounds rational because it maybe feels secure? Like the information i offered in the previous thread i posted...I watched a clip on the"venus project"
That is just horrible. Showing clips of spaceships and "this is the future"
There will never be a Utopia because humans are competitive by nature.
Peter Joseph proposes the sembiotic connection with nature, yet he is trying to offer ways away from it. sounds like NWO all over again.
Fuck it i think i'm just gonna enjoy my time in this shithole while i still can i guess
Sorry bout the blogpost

Even if this new resource based system was in operation, how do you offer incentive for someone to become a doctor instead of being a maintenance worker?, because the doctors would need 10 years of training and maintenance worker only would need say 1 year of training, but they would both inherent the same material properties and privileges . So i don't really see how it can work based on that problem of incentive.

that's true, I feel that it's more sensible and compassionate to build and change from our current situation, rather than to propose a grand vision for the future.

well with a job-based society, it's competitive by nature as well, so trying to incorporate a workforce into a technocratic-nature society seems assinign anyway.

humans are not competitive by nature. not even dogs, lions, bears, ants, or sharks. there is no competition in nature. in a culture or society though there is competition. societies are not natural so that is why there is competition in them. nothing has any independent existence. since all things are inter-dependent in nature, there is no competition. its a living, complex organism. you dont look at some clouds and say, "well, that cloud is bigger than the other one, and it seems to be going over there and joining that other one, they must be at war."

haha what? We are individual entities, and we all posses a consciousness, it's not like we can see ourselves as a huge organism anyway do that is really unrealistic. We as humans (or if you include all animals as well also) are not some giant collective consciousness, we all have the ability to walk away from the pack, or join up and stay with the herd, we all have the ability to kill ourselves, but unfortunately to live we have to find ways to co-exist with others in order to survive.
And yes i agree that in society, there is competition, which may also explain the competition seen in nature, people seem to think that animals have always been competitve, (ie. a pack of lions w/e) but this may only be a result of the human's affect on planet earth.
And clouds are very different from a living organism.

haha what? We are individual entities, and we all posses a
consciousness
without the cygnus there is no pulseclock. the universe doesn't work without pulseclock, because we need to know what a non-pulseclock is, which is what everything else would be. then we can chop that up and get a cygnus out of it. then we can create an illusion of separation, allow for something like competition to "exist"
watch a pack of lions tear apart the wildebeast, they are inter-dependent on each other. are they not? the prey is not prey if there is not a predator. there is no predator if there is no prey. they require each other. they are one thing. competition implies there is more than one thing, and one thing can possibly be superior to the other. the truth is, the one thing is completely dependent on the other thing.
so, even if that supreme being reaches total supremacy, it will divide itself up. it needs non-supreme things to be supreme. it will take parts of its' supreme self and make them not-supreme.
And clouds are very different from a living organism.
is it? you are made up of 80% water. a cloud is water. it is water in a gaseous state. you seem to be closely related to a cloud then.

Peter joseph talks about scarcity in nature, and that is why animals are competitive, if they were fed from the sky, then the idea is that they would not be competitive at all, but i disagree somewhat, animals are very territorial, will fight for land and some male species like to dominate other males to attract females etc . So basically, animals want, food, sex and land. animals will accept food falling from the sky and not compete for it. animals will never stay in the same place, so you can't give them all a fair share of land, and they will always venture away from home looking for females. so you can see clearly my point.
Peter joseph discusses very important issues about the human condition, mass social engineering, control of resources, which is as he says is socially crippling because it stops us from really reaching our full potential. However he tries to cover too much ground with some guess work and patchy research, leaving many points and arguments to be thrown back at him. But still, he is right in saying we need to try a new approach and wake up to what is really going on around us.
regards
Larn

in the moment, right now, in which you are using these symbols to form thoughts that make sense to you, you are making me exist. i did not exist before this moment, and the present moment is all there ever is. the future has not come yet, the past is already gone. you are making me exist by reading these words and believing that the thoughts and feelings that arise within you because of them are coming from another person. i am doing the same thing with you. we are creating each other. we are totally dependent upon one another. in this moment, right now, you are giving me life, as i am to you.

Human beings are definitely competitive in nature. Take two human males who are normally docile, put them in a room with an attractive female, and they will start competing with each other until one or the other has the females attention.
Nature is one massive cesspool of violence and hostility. People seem to think that because trees, plants and house pets are cute and aesthetically pleasing, that it means that nature is some friendly flower than sings love songs and shits fairy dust. Nature moderates itself by creating animals that kill plants and insects, and other animals to kill those animals. It requires this to keep everything flowing.

Human beings are definitely competitive in nature. Take two
human males who are normally docile, put them in a room with
an attractive female, and they will start competing with each other until one or the other has the females attention.
humans are competitive by the standards of the society they were raised in. if you were to get jivverdicker and a person with creative ability locked in a room with a keyboard, theyre both going to look at the keyboard differently. you have conflicting interests that are the result of totally differing upbringings.
you and i can't understand this because we are cultural people. we are not very natural. there probably hasn't been a natural person for thousands and thousands of years.
there is nothing present in nature that asks for competition, or for any organism to think it is separate from another organism, "superior" or what ever. that is created by culture. spiders have poison to kill prey so they can eat, not be "superior". competition implies that one thing is better than the other. it implies non-balance. nature is balanced. if a lion kills the wildebeast it's not competition. they both win. there is no struggle.
