The great orb composer has passed on.

very shocking news , my heart goes out to his family,
friends and orb fans too.

rest in peace Andy your wonderful, uniquely unique ambient
music/sound designs will live on forever.

blessings!

If music was a hand, I feel that it has just lost 3
fingers.

On a serious note, that is bad news.

this has more effect on me then micheal jackson, or anyone.
those 3 albums he produced where the soundtrack to my life
in the 90's.
the orb is one of the greatest things that have ever
happened to me. as a musical influence.

I listened to Orblivion at work today....i always wondered
where the hell they got their samples from.

and i noticed how much better ipods are because i could
immediatly go to the hidden song

my wife said, "the singer?"

but yes, this is sad news. Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld
was the first "electronic" album I ever bought.
