In ear ringing

Hey guys,

The ringing in my ears has been more noticeable lately. A
life style of playing drums for punk bands, going to lot's
of bar type shows, maxing out walkmen volume, and constant
headphone usage has caught up with me.

I was wondering if any of you have severe ringing in your
ears and how do you each cope with it. There are homeopathic
pills available for tinnitus, but I think that is for
temporary ringing (like when you just get out from a show).
It's not so much the lack of volume that bugs me so much,
it's the ringing.

I'm under the impression that this could play a role on
other aspects of my life, like attention span and
concentration.

if you cut off your ears (and remove the inside organs or
whatever also) and you have tinnitus do you still hear the
ringing? cuz this is a possible solution

what you're hearing is the thought monitor the Illuminati
installed into your ear canal after you started getting
close to cracking the N.W.O. conspiracy

My friend has it, it is now a permanent disability. The only
thing he can do is try and avoid high pitched noises,
they're disabling to him.

I doubt a homeopathic pill will do anything, best get
yourself off to a specialist.

homeopathic medicine is bogus, go to a legit physician and
ask them for a proper diagnosis. most likely you'll be
living with tinnitus for the rest of your life if it hasn't
ceased after a few days, so take more care of your hearing!

My doctor told me it was Tinnitus a few years back. Just
recently I've been paying attention to the sound a lot more
instead of ignoring it.

Isn't this common in a lot of people/musicians ?
