Since we are all into esoteric stuff, do you find yourself
sometimes attracting the wrong types of people ? Not so much
Aphex Twin fans, but people who capitalize on your strange
tastes as an outlet for deep rooted social/schizophrenia ?

If a psycho befriends me, i get scared they might wants to

little sugar.

I'm going confirm this as very true for me, and it has been
one of the greatest realizations i have had for myself. I'm
so glad i can choose to be a dick and say fuck off to
someone even if it means having no best friends. It sucks,
but best friends i think really are people that can tell you
the flat out truth and they don't try to be nice about
something you're doing wrong.

You have to rely on yourself and only yourself before you
can ever be on an honest friendly level with anyone else
i've learned.

I work with psychotic/ schizofrenics in a clinic so maybe my
answer is yes? But in daily life no. I reccon them from
miles a way so I can avoid them eassilly.

The last couple of comments were insightful, and have made
me feel guilty for my rubbish post which preceded them.

All I can say though...is that there is a LOT of psycho's
about. Just read The Sun, Daily Mail, Metro etc.

They're everywhere.
And they have bombs.
In their shoes.

You're right, sir, the media does influence me a terrible
lot.

My comment contained not a hint of irony.

Met another one on the bus. Was friendly hoping he won't
resent and follow me with some sort of psychotic intent.
This might backfire cause he may follow me. FUCK. Not to
XLTBlog or anything but I'm kind of needing stable
friendships and not these crazy half way house types, semi
stalking me. This person was at the bus stop the other day
and walked right up to me and passively aggressive grabbed a
book in my hand. I semi sternly said "Hey man!". He started
asking me all these personal questions...

You know what ? I think it's my long hair. Maybe it's time
to cut it.

or is is because the 'psycho' one are the ones who will
generally be the most noticable, the ones that will jus
strike up and talk to/at you about something and therefore
they jus seem to be everywhere?

the hair probably makes you seem more approachable/friendly.
i tend to grow my hair out for a while, then keep it shaved
for a while. i can definately notice the response from
different people when i longer/shaved hair.

You've got long hair: you are a psycho yourself.

DO NOT TOUCH ANY KNIVES!
